ABOUT
Pirate Moon Press was founded by friends, Courtney Crane and Karen Henneck. Their love of children, original and imaginative children's literature as well as fine art, was the catalyst for this venture.
After completing their first book, "Ben and Pirate Moon" they had an offer of traditional publication but it didn't feel like the right path for the book. They put it aside and continued writing and illustrating.
Upon finishing their second children's book, "This Skin I'm In" they decided to found Pirate Moon Press and distribute their books independently focusing primarily on indie bookstores. Their books will also be available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
